Saudi Arabia hosting foreign investment project producing ethyl and butyl acetate


The first ever project of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of its nature, for the production of ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, chlorine dioxide, water and waste water, has seen the start of commercial production at Rabigh Industrial Estate about 150 Km from Jeddah International city.

The entire project technology is provided by Europe and China. It is the most modern plant catering to high standards of quality and is said to be a landmark for the region. The project is the result of the vision of HRH King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the custodian of the two holy mosques and his entire team in their efforts to boost the national economy and to bring best available technology and investment to the country.

The project is approved by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority as 100% Foreign Investment owned by Pakistani Nationals Mohammad Nazir Chaudhry and Imran Nazir Chaudhry.

Mr. Mohammad Nazir Chaudhry is the Managing Director of the Project. He is a renowned chemical engineer and scientist, having over 45 years experience of operating major chemical complexes around the world.

Printing ink, paint, packaging, water and waste water treatment and other industrial projects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the GCC, and nearby countries will get direct benefits from these locally produced chemicals.
